Armour of Vaul: The armour worn by Iyanna Arienal of Iyanden, and is an ancient artefact.

Arnell: The Slaughterer of Worlds, a Khornate Champion who leads his warband of Khorne Berserkers into battle wielding his Berserker Glaive.

Assault Cannon: A machine gun type weapon that is usually fitted to suits of Terminator armour or to Dreadnoughts. Also the Baal Predator sports a set of Twin-linked assault cannons in it's turret.

Asurmen: The first of the Phoenix Lords, and from which all Dire Avenger Aspect Shrines draw their knowledge of combat from.

Asuryan: The greatest of all the Eldar Gods, and the one who bears the greatest influence amongst the others in heaven.

Athag'Atherakhia: The Pride of Cha'Los was once a Dire Avenger Exarch during the time when he was alive, but since then, he was killed fighitng a Tyranid Carnifex, since then Athag'Ahterakhia (trans. face of destruction) has been fighting the wars in the name of Cha'Los.

Blood Angels: A Chapter of Space Marines that has a genetic flaw in their make-up. The Death Company are the epitome of their flaw.

Bolt Pistol: A weapon used by Imperial Guard officers, Space Marines, Sisters of Battle and the forces of Chaos, these light weight weapons use the same shells that bolters use and are just as effective.

Bolter: These rapid firing weapons that launch mass reactive shells that explode after penetrating organic flesh. These are used by many Imperial organisations, but also by the forces of Chaos.

Chapter: The current organisation of the Adeptus Astartes. Each Chapter us split into 10 companies and each company has 10 squads. This differs slightly from Chapter to Chapter.

Close Combat Weapons: The name given to any weapon wielded by Eldar Farseers and Warlocks.

Conceal: A Warlock power which hides the unit with a psychic field.

Court of the Young King: The Court of the Young King is a unit only available to Craftworlds fielding Swordwind Armies, and consists of up to fix Exarches and an Avatar.

Crack Shot: An Exarch power used by Fuegan and Dark Reaper Aspect Warriors.

Craftworld: A massive Eldar craft adrift in space, which is more akin to a massive Eldar city then conventional travelling craft. Rarely seen, these enigmatic craft are powerful wraithbone constructs.

Creidann: The name given to the Harlequin pack grenade launcher, but literally means 'belief-maker.'

Crone Worlds: The name given to the Worlds which reside within the Eye of Terror which are claimed to be the original Eldar Homeworlds which were not destroyed by the Fall.

Crushing Blow: An Exarch Power used by Striking Scorpion Aspect Warriors.

Crystal Targeting Matrix: A vehicle upgrade which allows the skimmer to shoot in the Moving phase.

D-Cannon: The D-Cannon or Distort cannon uses the same principals as the larger warp engines employed by the Imperial Navy in that it opens a rift in the fabric of real space.

Damius: One of the Four Winds of Chaos Lords. Damius is the Plague Wind.

Dark Angels: A Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, who's power armour is painted dark green. Their first company are known as the Deathwing. This chapter has a mysterious past.

Dark Eldar: The name given to the Eldar which no reside within the Webway, and to those who serve the Chaos God Slaanesh.

Dark Reaper: The Aspect Warrior Shrine which concerns with laying waste to it's enemies with it's torrent of armour-piercing rockets.

Dath: The Eldar word means 'between.'

Dathedi: This Eldar phrase means 'between colours' and relates to the holo-suit worn by Harlequins but also has implications upon the Eldar vehicle upgrade, the holo-field.

Death Company: The Death Company wear morbid black power armour and are suicidal to extremes. They are feared by the enemies of the Emperor.

Death Spinner: The weapon wielded by the Warp Spider Aspect Warriors, and creates a cloud of mono-filament wires which constrict around the enemy, lopping off limbs as they thrash against the constricting mass.

Deathwing: The 1st Company of the Dark Angels Chapter. Their armour varies from that of the rest of the Chapter in that they are painted bone white in honour of their past.

Defend: The Exarch Power employed by the Dire Avenger Aspect Shrine Exarchs, in which the Exarch makes it extremely difficult to be hit by using dodges and parries.

Demon Walker: These mount a modified version of the prism cannon which is much more compact yet just as powerful as the Grav-Tank mounted version.

Destructor: A Warlock power which unleashes a rolling cloud of pure psychic energy.

Dire Avenger: The most tactically flexible of all the Aspect Warriors, their principal weapon is the shuriken catapult.

Diresword: The Weapon wielded by Dire Avenger Exarchs, which contain the bound soul of a dead Eldar warrior.

Distaur: The Eldar word for the Harlequin unit 'mime.'

Distract: An Exarch power used by Dire Avengers Exarchs which is used to distract an opponent in base-to-base contact.

Divination: One of the powers used by Eldrad Ulthran, which allows you to reposition up to three units in the army.

Dominator Grav-Tank: The Dominator mounts the devastating starburst missile launcher which launchs a near verticle missile, which explodes, releasing hundreds of miniature, armour-piercing rockets back down to the planets surface.

Doombringer Grav-Tank: These dangerous vehicles carry the Nano-wave emitter which uses a naturally occuring sonic energy which rips apart matter within seconds by causing violent miniature vibrations which shack apart the molecular bonds between compounds.

Doomrider: A Slaaneshi Champion who rides a battle upon a daemonic bike. His ramdom appearances reveal his daemonic nature.

Eclipse: A class of Eldar craft, a medium class ship.

Eldanesh: Child of Kurnous and Isha, brother of Ulthanash.

Eldar Missile Launcher: A multi-tasking weapon which can fire either Krak or Plasma missiles, and can wieled by nearly all Eldar vehicles and Dark Reaper Aspect Warriors.

Eldrad Ulthran: The most powerful Eldar of the Ulthwe Craftworld, and who has been commanding their movements for the past several millennia.

Eldritch Storm: A Farseer power which creates a storm of lightning which is relatively weak and is expensive in terms of points cost.

Embolden: This Warlock power allows the unit to re-roll failed Morale Checks and Pinning tests which they are required to make.

Endobai: The Exarch Master belonging to the Swooping Hawk Aspect, it is Endobai whose name means Eagle of Heaven, is the most proud of all the Cha'Los Exarch Masters who's attacks are unpredicable.

Energy Field: The protective device used on both War Walkers and Wave Serpents, which protects the frontal arc from Strength 9 and 10 weapons and also from melta type weapons whihc are under half range.

Enhance: An Warlock power which increases the units I and WS by +1.

Evade: An Exarch Power used by the Shining Spear Exarchs which makes their armour throw Invulnerable.

Exarch Master: The Exarch Master are warriors who have greater skill then any other Exarchs are at present there are only twelve such Exarchs in existance. They are unique to the Cha'Los Eldar, who utilise them as effective battlefield leaders where a Farseer or Warseer would seem a little unneeded such as planetary holding actions and the talents of the Farseers deemed unneeded.

Exarch: Exarchs are those lost on the Path of the Aspect Warriors, forgetting their past lives and taking on the ritual amrour and name of those who have died before.

Executioner: The Executioner with a long bladed power weapon which is wielded by Jain Zar, Maugan Ra, and most Howling Banshee Exarchs.

Fallen: A facet of the Dark Angels past, and whom the members of the Deathwing try to capture.

Harlequin Kiss: The Harlequin kiss is an exotic weapon which consists of a tube fitted to the Harlequin's forearm and when he punches forward, the coil contained within the tube unwinds within a split second which pierces the opponents armour, turning the opponents insides into soup.

Harlequins: These are the masters of the Webway and the only ones who know the location of the Eldar Black Library. They wield exotic Eldar weaprony including the Harlequin kiss. The Harlequins are rarely encountered by other races and act as messangers and guides for the Craftworlds who require the use of the webway.

Haunting Phantoms: An Aspect Shrine unique to the Cha'Los Eldar, the imspiration of this Shrine is unknown, but their heavily armoured bodies drift along in an eerie manor using their Phantom matrices to drift across the battlefield.

Hawks Talon: This weapon is fielded by Swooping Hawks which fires rapidly, and has a Strength of 4 and a range of 24".

Haywire Grenades: These are the Eldar's anti-tank grenades, which emit a field which scrambles electrical circuitry and disorientates power generation systems.

Isha: The Eldar Goddess of both creation and the harvest, who created the Eldar race and who loved her people without question.

Kaela Mensha Khaine: The Eldar God of War whose was all but destroyed by the Yngir when they fought and cast down into the form of the mighty Eldar Avatars which reside within the centres of each of the Craftworlds.

Land Raider: These are the height of armoured defense, an mobile battlefeld command center, troop carrier and battle field tank in one vehicle. Fitted with susponsons sporting twin-linked lascannons and a set of twin-linked heavy bolters, the Land Raider is a formible opponent to face.

Ranger Vampire Teams: These anti-tank specialists replace the Fire Dragons on the Cha'Los Craftworld, laying waste to vehicles with their dedicated anti-tank weaponry including the Vampire launcher and shadow snare.

Ranger: These dangerous snipers are the Eldar who are exiled from the Craftworld and who tread the path of damnation and leave the Craftworld in search of freedom and adventure.

Ravenwing: Another company of the Dark Angels Chapter. Their armour is black and are great masters of their iron steeds. In battle, they ride Space Marine Bikes and Land Speeders.

Razorback: A transport used exculsively by the Adeptus Astartes. Has less troop carrying ability then the Rhino, but sports additional firepower.

Reaper Launcher: The weapons wielded by Dark Reapers, which fire a hail of armour piercing rockets into the enemy.

Rhiantha: Literally means 'the starlight which shines upon the water of Rhidhol in the winter', but is loosely means 'mourner.'

Rhidhol: A place in Eldar mythology, unknown whether it is fictional or whether it actually existed.

Rhino: The standard troop carrier of the Adeptus Astartes and the Sisters of Battle. This armoured personal carrier sports light weapon but is easily fixed.

Rillietann: The Eldar word for 'Harlequin.'

Rillisliddian: The loose term for 'shooting star,' but the more exact phrase is 'shimmering heavenly body'

Rune Armour: The armour worn by Eldar Warlocks and Farseers giving them a 4+ Invulnerable save.

Runes of Warding: The runes which protect the Farseer and those nearby from offensive psychic attacks.

Runes of Witnessing: Guiding the Farseer down the twistin paths of fate, the runes of Witnessing give the Farseer additional protection from those within the Warp and aids him when casting his powerful magicks.

Saim: This word has two meanings, 'snake' and 'secret knowledge.'

Scurathainn: The Eldar word for 'Walkers.'

Seach-: Requires a prefix a the end but on it's own means 'deception.'

Seachmall: The Eldar word of 'illusion', which deals is often used in conjuction with the Harlequins.

Seachran: Similar to Seachmall in that the two words mean similar things, but Seachran literally means 'delusion.'

Shadow: A medium class ship with notably large lower wings wich denotes an Eldar ship of this class.

Shelwe: The Eldar word for 'song.'

Shemash: The Eldar word for 'world'.

Shuriken Pistol: All the shuriken weapons, pistol, catapult and cannon all use the same principals to fire... Smallest of the shuriken weapons, also has a Strength of 4, and is wielded by most of the army.

Sierbann: The Eldar word for 'scatter laser'.

Singing Spear: The Eldar weapon which is wieled by Warlocks and Farseers which can be thrown up to 12" and strikes vehicles with a Strength of 9.

Skilfil Rider: The Shining Spear Exarch skill which allows the Exarch and his unit to ignore difficult terrain completely as they dion't require to make Difficult Terrain tests.

Slaanesh: Also know the as the Prince of Excess, and whose followers are driven to new feats to attain even higher levels of emotional highs and lows.

Slaanesh: One of the four Chaos Gods, Slaanesh, the Prine of Excess, was created by the Eldar millennia ago as they led selfish and self induldent lives before the Fall which fed the new Chaos power until the Fall made Slaanesh a God in his own right.

Space Marine: A genetically engineered fighting force, that are encased in power armour in battle.

Spear of Teuthlas: The Spear of Teuthlas is wielded by Iyanna, an Iyanden Spiritseer, and is one of the oldest singing spears.

Spirit Stones: A technology of the Eldar which stops an Eldar from being eternally torments by Slaanesh after they die by capturing them in a special stone made from wraithbone which they can later use to activate Wraithguard and Wraithlords, and other uses.

Spiritseer: The name given to Eldar who tend to the Wraithguard and Wraithlords on the Iyanden Craftworld.

Staff of Ulthamar: The weapon wielded by Eldrad Ulthran himself, who leads the Craftworld of Ulthwe.

Star Engines: These allow the vehicle to move directly forward 2D6" in the shooting phase instead of firing.

Star Technology: The Eldar make wide use of star technology which is their term of plasma, including plasma cannon (starcannon) and plasma drives (star engines).

Starcannon: The Eldar plasma cannon is far more efficent then those employed by the Imperium, and doesn't get hot on a roll of 1 To Hit.

Stealth: The Exarch power which allows a Exarch of Striking Scorpions to Infiltrate..

Storm Bolter: These weapons are basicly a set of two Bolters that are set to fire in unison.

Striking Scorpions: The Aspect Shrine which deals with attacking the more numerous of the opponent's armies, utilising the Mandi-blasters to attack their foes from a few paces away.

Suin Daellae: The Eldar word for the 'wailing doom,' i.e. the Avatars weapon!.

Surprise Assault: This Exarch Power which is used by Striking Scorpion Exarchs to gain +2 Attacks for charing instead of the usual +1.

Sustained Assault: This Exarhc power, used by Swooping Hawks, allows the Swooping Hawk Exarch to keep rolling to hit until he misses.

Swooping Hawks: The winged Aspect Shrines whose Phoenix Lord is Baharroth, and who are armed with Strength 3 Lasblasters.

Swordwind: The name given to Eldar armies of Saim-Hann which utilise their larger number of Aspect Warriors to greater effect.

Tactical Dreadnought Armour: Also known as Terminator armour. See Terminator Armour.

Talon Grav-Tank: The Talon mounts an new Cha'Los weapon, the Electromagnetic pulsar which stuns the enemy vehicles, allowing the Cha'Los Eldar to deal with the armoured threat.

Taluclu: The Eldar word of meeting.

Tank Hunter: The Exarch power used by Fire Dragon Exarchs which allows him to re-roll failed Armour Penetration rolls.

Tannascurath: The Eldar word for 'Spirit Warrior.'

Terminator Armour: These suits of personal armour are very protective and include composite layers of differing materials that not only stop projectiles but also obsorb energy projectiles to some degree. Also known as Tactical Dreadnought Armour

The Watcher: Another mysterious figure of Eldar history who still haunts the Webway and the universe, an Eldar seer who was not completely killed, nor can be, his spirit was not fully trapped within the spirit stones worn upon his ghosthelm.

Troupe: A band of Harlequins is known as a Troupe of Harlequins.

Tuelean: The Eldar word for shuriken catapult.

Tuisich-Novasmair: The Eldar word of Pheonix Lord

Tzeentch: The Chaos God that is the true master of the Warp and is also known as the Changer of Ways.

Ulthanash: Child of Kurnous and Isha, brother of Eldanash.

Ulthwe: The Eldar Craftworld which stayed close to the Eye of Terror after the Fall. They have black armour and have a standing army of Black Guardians and the largest number of Warlocks and Farseers.

Ultramarines: A Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, who's power armour is painted blue with yellow trims.

Urgebelach: The Philosophy of the Eldar Webway, which also describes the effects of the Webway to Craftworld Eldar who travel through it.

Vaul: The Eldar smith god who created what is believed to be the first direswords for Khaine and his warriors when he was fighting the Yngir.

Vectored Engines: The Eldar vehicle upgrade which allows the vehicle to re-roll Difficult Terrain test which also only costs 5 points.

Vibro Cannon: This Eldar weapon focuses a cascading wall of sound through a magnetic tunnel, which radiate around the tunnel's end, causing tramatic vibrations to all those near.

Vulture Squadron: These are far more agile then the normal Eldar jetbike, but may also be fitted with storm jets which allow the Cha'Los Eldar to make large descents into the heart of the enemy army.

Vyper: The Eldar war vehicle which is a larger form of the Eldar jetbike which often mounts a set of twin-linked shuriken catapults and another heavy weapon.

War Shout: The Exarch power of the Howling Banshee Aspect Shrine which allows the Exarch to unlerash a barrage of sonic energy from her banshee mask.

War Walker: An Eldar walker which mounts two heavy weapons which can tailored to a range of specific battlefield roles including mass shots (scatter lasers/shuriken cannons) or anti-tank hunting (bright lances)

Warlock: Those being trained personally in the ways of the Seer by the Eldar Farser's. These can form bodyguards or be assigned to Guardian units boosting their capabilities in certain areas.

Warp Spider: The Aspect Warriors which are quite through dense cover and mount Strength 6 rapid fire wepaonry.

Warseer: These are Cha'Los rulers during times of war, and who are guided directly by the castings of the Farseers, chosing the course of action which is most benefical to the Cha'Los Eldar.

Wave Serpent: The main transport for the Craftworld armies which also mounts twin-linked weapontry and is protected by an energy field.

Web of Skulls: The Web of Skulls are three or more crystal balls or skulls linked by light weight chains, which can be through in vast arcs and also be used in combat like a power weapon.

Webway: The Eldar Webway is a network of tunnels which are found in another dimension, and the Eldar have been able to open portals into the Webway, using it to attack from. However, there are many tunnels within the Webway, varing in size from massive arteries to tiny capilies which link Craftworlds, planets and all things within the Universe.

Witchblades: These anti-tank weapons automatically Wound on a 2+ and triple the users Strength when fighting against vehicles, making the user Strength 9, a more then formibable opponent in combat.

Withdraw: An Exarch power wielded by the Warp Spiders which allow them to automatically Fall Back from combat after charging.

Wraithbone: The name given to a psycho plastic which all rune armour, wraithguard, wraithlords and even the Craftworlds are constructed from and allow an Eldar spirits to tranverse the length of their form.

Wraithcannon: These extremly dangerous weapons have an AP of 1 and automatically Wound on a 4+, but have a range of 12"

Wraithguard: These armoured hulks are the dead of the Eldar given new bodies of wraithbone, but can be subject to Wraithsight.

Wraithknights: These robotic warriors are constructed from the hulks of Wraithguard, but field the deadly fusion fist and twin-linked shuriken catapults. After being ordered by Farseer Gualian, a troupe of Eldar bonesingers begun work creating new Wraithguard, augmenting them with new weaponry.

Wraithlord: Dreadnought sized monster who have a Strength of 10, and can wield a heavy weapon in addition to their basic armament of either two shuriken catapults or two flamers or a combination of both. Also made from wraithbone and like their smaller Wraithguard, the Wraithlord contains the bound spirit of one of the Eldar's mightiest heroes.

Wraithsight: The Special Rule concerning the Wraithguard in that they are sometimes slow to react to changes in battlefield conditions, and must roll a D6 at the beginning of each turn and have a 1/6 chance of becoming inactive for the turn unless joined by a Farseer and/or Warlock.

Yme-Loc: The name of a Craftworld which has been spotted a couple of times during the last several millennia.

Yngir: The Eldar word the for the C'Tan star gods of the Necrontyr, which relates to demi-gods.

Ynnead: The God of the Eldar dead, unto which all Eldar spirits passed unto before the Great Enemy came into existence.

Zamorshemash: Literally means 'The World of bloodied sword.'

Zar: The Eldar word for 'silence.'

Zhai: The Eldar word for 'blade.'
